How to Leave This World Alive
Acts 2:21 ...whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
Mark 1:15 ...repent ye, and believe the gospel.
Heavenly Father, I realize that I am a sinner and have no goodness on my own. I believe that Jesus Christ suffered so that I don't have to face the judgment my sins deserve. I now repent and ask you to forgive me. I thankfully receive Christ and His gift of salvation. Help me from now on to live as you would have me live and to boldly confess to people everywhere that Jesus is my Saviour and my Friend. Thank you in Jesus' name, Amen.
Once you have become aware of your sins and God's offer to clear you of them, you are responsible for your decision. Whether you make an active decision or not, you have chosen to either accept or reject His offer. Putting off your choice has the same effect as turning it down. Take God up on His gracious offer today; choose life!
